Nordic cultural magazine network (Föreningen för Sveriges Kulturtidskrifter, Sweden, Kultti rf, Nätverkstan Kulturtidskrifter, Sweden, Tekstallmenningen, Norway Tidskriftsforeningen i Norge, Norway, Tidskriftscentralen, Finland and Tidskrift.fi, Finland) created a short-term networking project between the Nordic and Baltic cultural magazines.
The aim of the network is to facilitate opportunities for Nordic cultural magazines to converge, collaborate, and share ideas. Our inclusive platform also welcomes Baltic countries, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and enriching creative landscapes. The project encompasses diverse collaborations among Nordic cultural magazines to foster mutual learning and development. Partners share experiences, challenges, and successes while exploring prospects for collaboration.
The project successfully achieved its primary aim of facilitating opportunities for Nordic cultural magazines to converge, collaborate, and share ideas. Over the course of the project, there were four productive meetings that provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and exchange of experiences.
The cultural magazines from Baltic countries were also involved in the network meetings, which significantly enriched the discussions and fostered valuable cross-cultural connections. This broadened the scope of collaboration and added diverse perspectives to the creative and cultural landscape.
The project delivered as planned, promoting mutual learning and development among participating cultural magazines. Partners openly shared their challenges, successes, and innovative practices, creating a fertile ground for exploring future collaborative opportunities.
All in all, this was a highly successful project that met its objectives and demonstrated the power of cross-border cooperation in strengthening the cultural magazine field and the network wants to thank the Nordic Culture Point for making this project possible.
